Jujutsu Kaisen Cliffhanger Sets Up Hakari Domain Expansion

Jujutsu Kaisen sets the stage for Kinji Hakari’s own Domain Expansion Technique with the final moments of the newest chapter in the series! As Gege Akutami’s original manga series continues to explore the Culling Game, the series’ new arc has shifted its focus from Yuta Okkotsu’s battles in Sendai Colony to shine a light on how Hakari pulls it off. in Tokyo’s No. 2 colony since entering the tournament several chapters ago. But as fans have already seen, Hakari found himself up against a strange opponent for his first major conflict.

When we last saw Hakari, he entered Tokyo Colony No. 2 with Panda (as Yuji and Megumi entered Colony No. 1) after Yuji and Megumi managed to convince him to help them. , and the previous chapter of the series teased that his first major adversary in the game (which we got to see anyway) is a fourth type of wall-breaking villain looking to make his dream-making manga a reality. But as the final chapter shows, Hakari is looking to end this fight quickly.

It’s been 22 chapters since Hakari was last seen in the series, and Chapter 180 of Jujutsu Kaisen picks up right after Hakari is seen talking with Culling Game’s latest intro, manga creator Charles Bernard. They were having a conversation while riding a Ferris wheel, and it was here that Bernard explained some of the philosophies behind his manga creation. But Hakari ultimately has no interest in that and only seeks to bring him down as their fight begins in full in this new chapter.

It is revealed that Bernard’s technique is one that allows him to see a few seconds into the future, but Hakari soon discovers a loophole and surprises Bernard by attacking his blind spots. But knowing that the only way to completely stop Bernard’s efforts is to completely break his body and mind, Hakari prepares to unleash his own domain expansion as the chapter draws to a close. Titled “Idle Death Gamble”, we’ll soon see what Hakari is truly capable of.
